Welcome to Denia Dance

About Us

History

Denia Dance began in 2008 as a small dance company based in San Francisco. After performances at Cowell Theater, SAFEHouse for the Arts and 24 Days of Central Market Arts and more, we became a non-profit organization and expanded our vision to take a leadership role in the community

Our Growth

After producing outdoor music, dance and theater shows for thousands of people in Central Market District of San Francisco for five years, Denia Dance has grown into a platform to support long-term collaborative projects and expanded to include the Los Angeles arts community

Our Vision

In collaboration with Studio Live and international music and theater artists, we are developing the first in a series of shows to use dance, music and narrative to reshape cultural ideas about dance and broaden the audiences which find dance welcoming and accessible
